After a few hesitation because of the many reviews that the place have, I decided to give this place a shot after all, and I ain't regret it. So I assume that whoever wrote those reviews had some high expectations in mind, or maybe this place is different at the evenings I came in for a 12 o'clock beer, and eventually also get an hamburger. As for the atmosphere, the place was relatively empty (a few locals sit at the entrance) and there was only one lady in there at the shift that did everything (kitchen, orders etc). For me this is a 5 stars place, 1) I received a friendly and pleasant attitude, 2) I got to drink a cold beer in a hot day. 3) The hamburger and fries were good. 4) The price was resonable (2 beers and an hamburger for 16 USD). 5) Walk distance from the Peace Bridge.
We went there this evening for a live show. The staff was wonderful, friendly, and with great service. We ordered some appetizers and a wrap, all came out quickly and fresh. Everything tasted great. Will definitely go back next time we're in Fort Erie.
Hey, if you like country music and enjoy a country western style environment, this is the place for you. Nothing fancy here. It's just a casual place to have a few drinks and some pub grub with some friends or family. Have never been in the evening, but I believe they have dancing at night, probably on the weekends. And i believe they have bands playing. Food wise, we only ever had the platter of food for sharing. On our first visit there, we had a nice variety of items to enjoy on the platter, the second time not so much, but what was included was tasty. Only one lady working during the day, when we have been, she was nice and accommodating. Overall, no complaints. If you go, just keep in mind it's an older place with a very casual environment.
